Purified copper rods are drawn through a series of progressively smaller dyes. This process reduces the wire’s diameter and increases its length with exceptional precision, ensuring consistency across every strand. Following the drawing process, the wires undergo a controlled heat treatment known as annealing. This step restores the metal’s ductility and removes internal stresses, resulting in a wire that is both strong and incredibly flexible.
